Message from President
On behalf of the Uniquevarcity of Hikers, we would like to welcome you to our newly launched website!
Uniquevarcity of Hikers (UOH) is an organisation that is made up of and made for all hikers. This is the one unique platform created where hikers of all backgrounds will be able to come together to share the very passion of hiking. In addition to hiking, we have not forgotten the parts that we as hikers can play to those around us especially the mountain guides and the citizens of the mountains. UOH played its part in the aftermath of the Sabah earthquake that shook Mount Kinabalu that fateful day. Not only did the earthquake take the lives of hikers, but we lost guides who were our friends and family. It is for that reason UOH was formed, to be relevant and to advance its objectives of providing relief and help those deserving folks.
Let me share with you the saying :-
Hiking is a bit like life
The journey only requires you to put one foot in front of the other … again and again and again. And if you allow yourself opportunity to be present throughout the entirety of the trek, you will witness beauty every step of the way, not just at the summit
– (Unknown)
With that in mind, we at UOH would like to invite you to join us in your journey of life so that each of us can play our part in making this world a better place.
Always a Hiking,
Our Constitution
